REVEALED: Standard Condoms 'Too Big' For Indian Men
A
survey of more than 1,000 men in India has concluded that condoms made
according to international sizes are too large for a majority of Indian
men. The study found that more than half of the men measured had penises
that were shorter than international standards for condoms.
It has led to a call for condoms of mixed sizes to be made more widely available in India.
The
two-year study was carried out by the Indian Council of Medical
Research. Over 1,200 volunteers from the length and breadth of the
country had their penises measured precisely, down to the last
millimetre. The scientists even checked their sample was representative
of India as a whole in terms of class, religion and urban and rural
dwellers.
The
conclusion of all this scientific endeavour is that about 60% of Indian
men have penises which are between three and five centimetres shorter
than international standards used in condom manufacture.
The
issue is serious because about one in every five times a condom is used
in India it either falls off or tears, an extremely high failure rate.

One man who is out to open many old “secrets” in the Catholic church is Pope Francis. Some of the beliefs that are held in the church but contrary to the loving nature of God are now being set aside by the Pope who was recently name The Man of The Year by TIME Magazine.
In his latest revelations, Pope Francis said:
“Through humility, soul searching, and prayerful contemplation we have gained a new understanding of certain dogmas. The church no longer believes in a literal hell where people suffer. This doctrine is incompatible with the infinite love of God. God is not a judge but a friend and a lover of humanity. God seeks not to condemn but only to embrace. Like the fable of Adam and Eve, we see hell as a literary device. Hell is merely a metaphor for the isolated soul, which like all souls ultimately will be united in love with God.”In a shocking speech that is reverberating across the world, Pope Francis declared that:
“All religions are true, because they are true in the hearts of all those who believe in them. What other kind of truth is there? In the past, the church has been harsh on those it deemed morally wrong or sinful. Today, we no longer judge. Like a loving father, we never condemn our children. Our church is big enough for heterosexuals and homosexuals, for the pro-life and the pro-choice! For conservatives and liberals, even communists are welcome and have joined us. We all love and worship the same God.”In the last six months, Catholic cardinals, bishops and theologians have been deliberating in the Vatican City, in discussing the future of the church and redefining long-held Catholic doctrines and dogmas. The Third Vatican Council, is the largest and most important since the Second Vatican Council was concluded in 1962.

I don’t like body-hugging clothes –Stephanie Okwu

Background
My name is Stephanie Okwu and I am 19
years old. I’m from Imo State. I was the first runner up at the Most
Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2013. I am from a family of five and the
second child. I am currently studying Biology education at the
University of Lagos and I am in my second year. I am 6ft 1.
Participating in MBGN
That was my first time in a beauty
pageant. I had always wanted to be a supermodel but people kept telling
me to go in for a beauty pageant. I was young and did not pay heed until
I turned 18. I scaled through the auditions and fast forward to the day
of the competition, I made it to top five, top three and finally, I was
crowned MBGN Universe. I was not in the least disappointed I was not
crowned winner- it’s all a platform and what matters most is how best
you use it. My parents were sceptical initially but because they know
that they brought me up well, they just let me follow my heart. Now,
they are very proud of me.
A new life
I won’t deny that being MBGN Universe
has affected my life in a few ways and its all positive. I am still who I
am and I still make funny faces. I still have my friends and nobody has
had reason to complain. It has taught me to carry myself with
confidence and not pride. People now treat and respect me better. Also, I
now have to be more elegant in my dressing.
Pet project
It’s on Sickle Cell Disorder and the
less privileged children. I chose sickle cell because it is a health
challenge that is frequently overlooked by many. As such, more awareness
is necessary and I have taken it upon myself in my capacity as MBGN
Universe to educate people on this health challenge. When I was in
secondary school, I knew of a girl who suffered from the condition and I
was privy to how she struggled with the condition. Not everybody can
afford the cost implication and only few can recognise the symptoms of
Sickle Cell Disorder. A little education will go a long way.
Experience at Miss Universe
I took part in the Miss Universe
competition which held last month in Moscow. We were in camp for three
weeks and it was an amazing experience being in the midst of 85
beautiful ladies from different parts of the world. It was a beautiful
mix of different cultures and languages. Even though I did not go very
far, representing my country on a global stage was indeed fulfilling.
Modelling
Long before I participated in MBGN, the
first question people ask when they meet me is, ‘are you a model?’
Modelling is my passion and I enjoy it. I used to model and I did some
shows and modelled for some magazines. I started modelling at a very
young age and then, I stopped because I put on some weight and I could
no longer combine it with schooling. I intend to go back to modelling
after my reign even though it’s not something I intend to do for a very
long time.
Male attention
I let them know that I am focused on
other things. I have handled that aspect of my life well and it’s been
very okay with me. There is a life after MBGN and I need to get my
ideals right and not be distracted. When the time is spot on, my Mr
Right has to be God- fearing. He also has to be focused and caring.
Relaxation
I don’t do much. I prefer to go to the cinema and I like to play games. There are some games that challenge your mental ability.
Keeping fit
I am not naturally slim and I have had
to work hard at staying slim. I love meat a lot and that is quite
fattening. I try not to eat after 7pm and I take a lot of water, fruits,
vegetables and I stay away from meals like eba and the likes. I also exercise and I sleep well.
Beauty routine
I go to the spa every now and then and I
put a slice of cucumber over my eyelids to relive stress. I also ensure
I don’t go to bed wearing make-up. Fruits and water also help.
Style
Since I am playful in a good way, I
prefer to wear dresses that are not body hugging. I like things that
make me breathe. My style is me and in interpreting my style, I have to
be comfortable. Also, I dress the way I want to be addressed. I’m a big
fan of simplicity
